Eleven pages (plus 5 pages of instructions and the 8-page Intro to Card Modeling PDFs) for five bucks is a steal. In truth, I only played CoC once, over twenty years ago, but still eagerly seek out anything HPL related. Even went so far as to crank up Darkest of the Hillside Thickets’ Cthulhu Strikes Back while printing, cutting, and folding last night. If you play CoC, this is a great set. If you don’t play CoC this is a great set for keeping people away from your desk at work. Let’s take a look at those components….

From the title, you may think this is another one of those Wayans' Brothers movies that poke fun at every horror picture to ever come out. But you'd be wrong here. And be thankful for that! Slasher Flick is labeled as the horror movie role-playing game, and Spectrum Games held nothing back with this genre-encapsulating RPG. So, log out of those online casinos and check out an RPG that you can really sink your teeth into.
JAGS2 is a rules-mediun universal roleplaying system by Marco Chacon. It provides a nice slightly number crunchy alternative to other so-called universal gaming systems. It's cover is misleading in that it shows Tarot cards but Tarot cardd are not used in this rules system so I note that as a cover design flaw. I really love the archetype traits (weird stuff) in this book. including Synchronicity. The enchancements and deficits are also well-written and presented.- Read more...
I continue to be at a loss for gaming words. I cannot casually drop the topic of my book into conversation and cannot blog about it so I am stuck in my own brain and it's getting pretty whimsical. I find myself imagining creative ways to hide the bodies. Imagining elabroate gaming sessions in techniacolor with Cecil B.
